"Your blood is really healthy red" said the phlebotomist when she looked at the vial filling up. "Isn't everyone's blood red?" was my instant question. "Oh no, if people are dehydrated their blood turns brown."
"How interesting" was my first thought; but then the vast consequences flooded my brain: If hemoglobin is compromised and only partially available to deliver oxygen to every cell on a 24/7 basis all hell might break lose over time: Inflammations in every organ, loss of cognitive sharpness and memory in the brain, digestive challenges, arthritis and almost every illness possible.
