A Closer Look into Common Sense

Genius Tip #493

Is Common Sense really Uncommon?

hydration and the brain

Some statements just "click". We call them "no-brainers".

WAIT - that is a clue right there: If the brain is not or only marginally involved in generating powerful insights, where do they come from?

"My gut told me" are frequent answers. Yes, our gut has a ' second brain ', miraculous layers of nerve cells between the small intestines that add up to a total mass greater than the spinal cord. These intuitive insights are ONE part of the wisdom we are capable to create. But what makes these insights resonate with other people? Almost immediately?

Is there such a thing like an innate shared understanding of body wisdom that has been created collectively? If so, has this been passed down to us through pure DNA? Adjusted and enriched by additional experiences from the outside?

Here are a few examples for you that go beyond debate and discussion:

  • Negative feelings sabotage success
  • Deep breathing clears your thoughts
  • Physical movement accelerates learning
  • You were born to live.
  • Quality food improves mental and emotional health
  • You cannot debate your left arm

How does this resonate with you?
