Genius Tip #486

"Do I suffer from chronic fatigue?" asked Sandra* during a workshop last week. "Normally I start my day energized and motivated, but around 3 pm I simply feel exhausted, even on a day with low workload."

My question "How do you feel about yourself right now" prompted some deeper reflections in her; she noticed a lot of negative messages running through her brain that she would feel ashamed to share with others:

  • "You are not smart enough, not educated enough, not motivated enough, not good enough, not beautiful enough...."
  • "This is too hard for you"
Here is why I prefer to call these voices the "Inner Terrorist": Their nagging repetitiveness brings down your energy, step by step and systematically. Very much like a parasite taking advantage of your personal life energy. His/her intention is to weaken you and wear you out over time.

Positive thinking or affirmations might not be strong enough to offset this damaging impact.

Terrorists like to hide, engage in endless mental debates without any feeling for the value of your time and energy. On top of that they are pathological liers and twist facts on a constant basis.

Ready to stop this energy drain effectively? Speak up and share the truth: If you hear this voice telling you over and over again "You will never achieve this goal" you might put your foot down with a NO message: "NO, I do my best." and repeat it over and over again until your brain accepts the truth as a replacement for the inner terrorist lie. Every moment you have a chance to do your best!

Could it be that Sandra* feels exhausted by her own Inner Terrorist negativity?

Body Meditations are a genius way to weaken your Inner Terrorist and boost your own energy level within a few minutes. Learn MORE
