A Preferred Hiding Place For Brilliant Misfits?

Feet wearing white sneakers standing in front of a yellow smiley face on pavement, an arrow points right.

"I felt so bored all the time when I grew up. At school I did everything last minute to have at least some excitement going and had straight A's for every assignment and test. I did not even prepare for the SAT test and scored 1240 out of 1400. I received a scholarship for college, but I kept hating it".

Justin felt a relief when he went to school for film and TV production and landed a great job at Disneyland in the production of entertainment shows; fast paced action with rapid last-minute changes - Justin was in his element!

He was well into a significant career in Hollywood when he discovered a mysterious pattern. "Every time I worked in a company with a clear hierarchy and structures, I got bored quickly. Because I got each job done so quickly, they gave me an extra load of work but no extra pay". His desire to have a family required a different lifestyle. Today he is happy in a fast-paced sales position where he can work intensely at his own schedule.

He always loved music and even taught himself to play saxophone, clarinet, guitar, and piano for a strong creative outlet.

Brilliant misfits love to shine in their uniqueness. Is that the true core of happiness?
