Pressure slows down your mind and brings up the error rate

Diane* has been a very successful realtor, especially during this past COVID year. However, she felt exhausted, burnt out and short tempered with her 3 kids.

During one of our first conversations she shared the 2 quotes in the headline with me and stopped for a moment of silence. Then she continued: "I simply cannot live like that anymore; I cannot even enjoy my financial success."

Could it be that this strong work drive is simply outdated, very much like MS Windows '97? What could an upgrade on the human side of working look like?

It turns out that pressure slows down your mind and brings up the error rate. Responding with more pressure on the inside might be a dead end that leads to insecurity and self-questioning.

So we discussed the framework of a body-friendly lifestyle that taps into the power of intuition as a shortcut for problem-solving. Intuition increases efficiency, connection with other people and decision making exponentially and still leaves enough time to play with your children.

What is your experience along those lines?
