Working with the University of London and English school districts, Melanie was at the forefront of bringing science education to all students (K-12) in a wrap around, relevant and accessible format.

For the School for Integrated Academics and Technology, Melanie opened and operated two schools in Arizona and was awarded $3M in federal funding to support disabled students in their transition to work (AZ/CA).

For ResCare, Melanie directed a $40M federally funded contract, serving 850 residential youth in San Francisco Bay Area. At DESI Melanie was the Director of Job Corps Operations reporting to the President.
